Shri Damodar Maharaj Mahavidyalaya (SDMM) is an esteemed institution of higher learning situated at Vidyaniketan Campus, Nerpingalai, in Taluka Morshi, District Amravati (Maharashtra — PIN 444805). The college was founded under the visionary auspices of Sangharakshit Bahuuddeshiya Sanstha, Amravati (Registration No: MAH/742/AMT/2004), a registered public educational society committed to bringing accessible, disciplined, and transformative education to rural and semi-urban Vidarbha.

The college operates with official affiliation to Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University (KKSU), Ramtek, under institutional College Code: 1458. As documented in KKSU’s published affiliated colleges register (2025–26 list, Page 41), the institution delivers university-sanctioned degree programmes tailored to modern vocational and traditional scholarly requirements.

Presently, SDMM focuses its academic delivery strictly on three verified degree programmes: Bachelor of Arts in Travel and Tourism (B.A. Travel and Tourism), Bachelor of Science in Interior Design (B.Sc. Interior Design), and Master of Arts in Sanskrit (M.A. Sanskrit). Each curriculum integrates rigorous classroom pedagogy with studio practice, field exposure, and ethical values inspired by classical Sanskrit heritage.
